Work Package - 11 Pooling data for probabilistic approachesObjective: Identify practical ways to open up access to existing data for use in probabilistic approaches There is a large amount of existing data (e.g. on pesticide toxicity) that could be valuable in developing and using probabilistic approaches. Some data-pooling initiatives are already underway, but in other cases they may be hindered by issues related to commercial interest, confidentiality and data ownership. The work package reviewed the main types of existing data that might be useful for developing probabilistic methods and identified those types for which data access is difficult. It is now coordinating activities to investigate ways of opening up access to these data, including consultation with data owners.
