Work Package 8 - Case studiesObjective: Develop a set of case studies to test alternative approaches and serve as worked examples for dissemination and training. This work package will develop a set of case studies of the application of probabilistic methods to assessing environmental impacts of pesticides in EU scenarios. These will be used first to evaluate the approaches developed in EUFRAM, and subsequently to provide worked examples to accompany guidance and training material for end-users. In addition, the factors that most influence risk in the case studies will be identified by sensitivity analysis, to assist in the prioritisation of future research needs. Existing case studies were reviewed to select those that were best suited for testing the methods and tools being considered in the other work packages. This work package is coordinating work by the partners to develop the EUFRAM case studies, and to learn from other relevant case studies external to EUFRAM.
